Meet Kiran
Author • Speaker • Teacher
I'm a teacher by profession, and my love of mentoring and helping people to grow into their best selves permeates through everything I do.

A Mindful Move, the self-help book I published in 2017, is the guide I wished I’d had through 29 relocations. Now I live in sunny San Diego, my 30th move! My work on mindfulness and moving is featured in The New Times.

In addition to my experience as an author, I’m an impassioned motivational speaker. Conferences, workshops, and radio, are just some of the places where I’ve spoken. I also love mentoring others in public speaking and am the VP of Mentorship at my local Toastmasters club.

I was born to teach, and specialize in the teaching of reading and writing. My students are of all ages, from kindergarten to college level. These days I mostly tutor children with dyslexia. I also provide Business English coaching to adults.

Outside of my diverse set of professional interests, I’m a proud mum of two adult children and an adoring grandma to a sweet toddler. I also love to sing karaoke, dance to live music, and enjoy San Diego’s many gorgeous beaches.
